Before Your Appointment
-
• Hydration Station: If you have dry skin, start moisturizing twice daily.
*Use a high quality moisturizer such as Hempz, CeraVe, or Cetaphil. Glow up by Meagan also sells a spray tan safe moisturizer :) -
• Exfoliate & shave! Use a scrub or exfoliating mitt to get rid of those dead skin cells. Using a spa grade exfoliator is recommended.
• Time to get any waxing, nails, or facials done.
• No lasering when you're getting a spray tan!
-
• Fresh and Clean: Rinse off any deodorant or makeup you might have worn through the day.
Bare Necessities:
Come as you are. That means:
• No makeup
• No lotions
• No deodorant
What to Wear:
• Wear dark, loose clothing and old undergarments. An oversized t-shirt & sweatpants are a perfect example!
• No jeans, leggings, or tight clothing. These will jeopardize your tan
Dresses aren't recommended either due to body friction.
• Open-toed shoes are required!
After Your Glow Up!
-
• Keep It Dry: Stay away from water!
• Your first rinse should be only with luke-warm water! No soap is needed. Rinse until the water runs clear. No scrubbing!
*For rapid tans : Shower exactly at the time advised, or else the outcome will not be as desired.
-
• Hydrate and moisturize at least twice Daily. It is recommended to use Body Renew from Meagan’s shop!
• Use sulfate-free shower gel and fragrance-free, alcohol-free lotions.
* CeraVe, Cetaphil, or Hempz Lotion are great options for a drugstore purchase. Tip: Drugstore products will never compare to Meagan's retail :)
• Even with your tan, you need to sunscreen when in the sun. A spray tan does not protect you from burns!
-
Hydrate and moisturize!
The more you stay hydrated and moisturize, the longer your tan will last.
The length of your tan will vary by skin types, exposure, and spray tan types. Generally you can expect:
Overnight Tan: 7 - 10 Days
Rapid Tan: 7 Days
